One of the YouTubers I subscribe to, John Green, is an author (like, an actual, published author), and his newest book came out on January 10th this year. I was still in Germany, but as I had pre-ordered the book, I didn't want to risk it not getting to me in time before I left (also, extra weight), so the day I got home, I started reading it. I stayed up til 2am on the Friday night, not because I wasn't tired (I was), but because The Fault in Our Stars was a really good read. You should all read it.
I used up my points from my credit card getting a $50 Dymocks voucher, and a $50 BP voucher. On Friday, after handing my assignment in and being officially on holidays, I went to Dymocks and bought ALL the John Green books, as well as The Hunger Games, because I thought I should see what the fuss is about, and also I'm planning to see the "major motion picture" next week. On Friday afternoon, I started Looking for Alaska, and had finished it by yesterday (Saturday) afternoon. I was also out all Friday night. Once I'd finished it, I started The Hunger Games, and have now finished it, despite not having read it between about 5pm yesterday and 7pm today. Neither book is particularly heavy-going (they are young adult fiction, rather than you know, for actual adults), but the main reason I got through them was because they are good. Well, Alaska is, I'm really not sure what the appeal of Hunger Games is, but I devoured it anyway.

Anyway, now I'm starting on Paper Towns, then will be An Abundance of Katherines, then Will Grayson, Will Grayson, then I'll go back to Harry in German. It's just like when I used to stay up til all hours of the night, reading :) <3
But I think you should all read The Fault in Our Stars and Looking For Alaska, they're good books.
