Beware: this is the final test.
Last night, we returned from our journeys to Victoria.
Very early in the morning of the 28th, we left on our travels.

We stopped in Keith, and went to the Super Market, where there was super-fresh food!

There was also a politically incorrect fence

And we saw a few cars which were heading to Falls. We also saw them again in another town, which was cool and reassuring.

This was part of the Great Green Ocean Road.

Our

Fun with a permanant texta

We stopped in Caserton for lunch, then I drove. This is significant becuase I can't actually drive a manual. So Lib changed the gears for me.

But there were cows! ON THE ROAD!

We stopped at a place just outside Colac and got free cordial. Mine was red. WHEE.

We eventually got to Lorne, and even more eventually found the campsite, and set up the tents.

Then had a fish & chip dinner on the beach.

The next morning, we packed up pretty well, especially considering we had to cleverly disguise all the alcohol we were taking into falls.

How cleverly is this beer disguised!! Who would EVER guess that that's not solo?!

We camped right next to the creek, it was nice.

So anyway, we were all on track to leave the campsite before 10, and we all loaded ourselves into cars, and our car started moving. I looked back to see Ben sprinting after us yelling STOP! So we did. We had a flat tyre. A VERY flat tyre.

Luckily, we had some manly men who fixed it. I hear it was mostly Ben.

So then we went to have morning tea in Lorne, and Alison and Astrid withdrew monies from the ATM, which had a very very long line.

And then we got on our way!!!

And then we got there, and didn't get searched or anything, so the clever disguising was all in vain. We set up our tents (on a hill) then settled down to a nice afternoon tea of pikelts with nutella. Mmmmm.
Also, Bart is a model.

After modelling and eating, we went to exchange our tickets for wristbands.

This was the program.

Lib in her Josie tshirt.

Bart in his Built to Spill tshirt.

Me in my Falls tshirt.

Uno!

So eventually the music started, and we went to watch it. This was Jackson Jackson, I think.

Shane bought a fondue.

After a while, I got quite upset becuase they kept showing 'if you're a teenager and you drive, you will die and end up looking like this and kill all your friends' ads, so Bart and Michael took me back to the tent, and we made the anarchy symbol from our glow sticks. Those two events aren't actually related, and we didn't make the symbol as a result of my being upset, they just sort of looked like it, so we added another one and voila. Anyway, then Bart and I went to sleep, and the others went to Groove Armada.

Then we woke up! And because we were camping on a hill, our mattresses had slid down to the bottom of the tent, and our legs were all squished. So we got up, because it was also very hot in the tent. Look at that hippie skirt.

We set up the (massive) tarp for shade. So that was good.

Then we went to see the SuperFunHappyBand! who weren't actually very super, happy or fun.
Anyway, we also saw some other bands, and ate some mexican. It was very hot, so Astrid and I lay down.

Astrid actually went to the Easter Show, didn't you know?!

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club

The next day, it was 41. Yes, FORTY ONE DEGREES. It was fairly hot when we woke up in our tents. I went on a mission for water, and on my way back heard them making a medical announcement, telling people to get their friends out of tents so they didn't overheat.
We were sort of tired, so we ate my chocolate and coffee bean cake, which was from Santa, and was originally chocolate covered coffee beans... unfortunately, it melted. It was very chocolatey and coffee-y.

Michael and I were the first to brave the main arena, as we went and sat in the First Aid tent's shade to watch Special Patrol, who were pretty good.

Then was The Cops!!!!!!! :D I got about three rows back and it was AWESOME. And I got drenched, becuase they hosed us becuase it was unbelievably hot. And all the purple dye came out of my hair, onto my white hat. Aha.

Michael and I then went and saw The Panics. They were good, but all their songs sound quite the same.

Josie! :P

Mmmm, Choc Tiny Bears

Anyway, we all went back to the tent, and employed the spray bottles, and sprayed each other with water. Loverly.

Mmmmm

Mmmm, goon in a powerade bottle. We're classy.

Right before Built to Spill! :O

Omg it's nearly time!

Built to Spill. They were pretty good I guess.

Girl Talk

The Unibar Crew at Falls!

Crowd at Kings of Leon. And then it was 2008!!

Midnight Juggernauts!

The next day we packed up the car nicely, then left.

People left a LOT of stuff behind.

There was a big queue to get to Anglesea, becuase there was some rowing thing going on there. Le sigh!

Eventually we got there though, and had lunch. There was no Farmers Union. So we had Big M's.

We (well, me, Astrid, Bart and Michael) went swimming too. It was quite windy. Then Astrid and I ran along (yeah, ran!) like the beach babes we are, and then we all freed ourselves from the badly tied ropes that the pirates put us in. We also waddled. It was fun. Waddlewaddlewaddlewaddlewaddlewaddlewaddle.

Then we drove to Melbourne. We passed a Safeway. What is this crazy state, I thought to myself.

(This is the next day now)

We caught a tram! Actually, we caught MANY.

And bought tickets.

LOL.

The six of us by the lake in the Botanic Gardens, where we had a picnic lunch (at about 3pm.) Me, Bart, Michael, Astrid, Lib, Shane.

The bamboo was pretty scary.

Shane and Bart trying to get into the castle we found.

Put the paperbark back Bart.
You must all come and see The Unibar Crew: The Musical.

We went.

Sarah+Sez=Sarraz?

Our feetses.

Bart and Shane stopping the tram.

Us in front of Luna Park (see it on the left there?) when we went to St Kilda for dinner with Maynard and crew.

:O!

Where Astrid, Lib and I went with Astrid's friend Freya for breakfast.

African resturant. Photo of giraffes as requested by Lib for Lisa.

We were actually shopping in Adelaide, obviously. It's King William St!

The dvd we did NOT buy, and in fact buried so that Shane wouldn't see it.

The BBQ that Shane's Darryl and Sarndra made for us :)

We went out to one of the many local pubs, because it was Thursday. And we are the Thursday night Unibar Crew. So the guys got a jug, and we got Strongbow.

Then it was the next day, when we decided it was toursit day.

So we went up the Rialto Tower.

Whee.

What a cool kid.

LOL

LOL (you know we're cool.)

Shane, not showing favouritism.

Lygon St!

My pasta. The best on the table, some said.

LOL.

Bart and I waiting for the tram to town.

Emergency vehicles at the train station! :|

Anyway, Bart's friend took us to this dingy alleyway, and to the Trader Bar, which seemed kinda cool, except that it was closing. That's right, it was midnight on a FRIDAY, and it was closing.

But we went to another bar, then went home. And used the change machine!

The next day, we went back to the ACMI museum place, then Bart and I went to memory lane. Well, Bart's memory lane. We went to Rosanna on a train. And we had slurpees from the 7/11.

We bought stuff for a picnic, and ate it. Except we didn't eat the chips, because we were already full! We're smart kids.

On our way to the Polish resturant.

Yummmmm.

If Michael and Alex had a child, he would look like this.

So again, Bart and I were the only ones to go out with his friends. We met Frances and Pat, then Anthony and his party. Eventually we separated ways and Frances, Pat, Bart and I went to this place, which was very cool.

Then it was the next day, and we packed up the car. This is the roof.

We eventually got on the road (actually not very long after 11, which was our scheduled leaving time!) and stopped briefly along the Great Ocean Rd.

We stopped in Apollo Bay for lunch, where Shane's custard tart dripped. It was suspicious.

Also, my milk was out of date. The bakery at Apollo Bay is obviously not very good AT ALL.

We also stopped at the 12 apostles, which was very cool.

Also the collapsed bridge.

We spent the night in Warrnambool, where there was a fair right next to the caravan park! Bart, Michael and I went on this ride.

It hurt me and I now have a massive bruise.

When the morning came, we packed up again,

Had breakfast at McDonald's, and got on the road.

We stopped for lunch in Naracoorte. Astrid had a disappointing custard tart.

But it's okay, she made a face out of it, named it (Mr Custard Tart), and made out with it. So all was not lost.
You're a fossil centre!

No YOU'RE a fossil centre.

We stopped for a few minutes at Keith again, just to stretch our legs.

Then went home.

:)

It was a great trip.
I love you all.
