Shane and Michael are sitting on my bed watching me, and Libby's in the shower.

I'm off to Falls very early tomorrow morning (6:30!) in car MESS (with myself, Lib, Shane and Michael), and we will drive to Lorne to join car BABA (with Ben, Bart, Astrid and Alison).

So I would just like to say HAPPY NEW YEAR and have a lovely ten days. We'll return on the sixth I believe.

Love you all.

"Oh my God there's more salt!"

Well, the time has come for another blog update (really it's becuase I'm home agian tonight - craziness!)

So anyway.
Wednesday
I worked, then went with Astrid, Lu and Ben to Henley beach to join others who were already there. We then went back to Bart's, and played Kings possibly. Oh yes, we did. Aha. Red wine in the Kings drink, yummo.

Thursday
Went to town to try to find a costume for Saturday, but ended up getting material instead. Bart and I had dinner together; it was nice to have some time with just the two of us.

Friday
I worked, then my godparents and two of my godsisters were over from Perth, so I spent some time with them, and also whipped up my dress for the party.

Saturday
I worked, then came home, said goodbye to godparens/sisters, and went to Bart's. Transformed him into Harry Potter, and transformed me into Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz.Harry on his mop.

Wolverine (Ben) (he even shaved to look like Wolverine's facial hair!)
Andy in a toga.
Chuckie (Lu) and the Bride of Chuckie (Lib)

Audrey Hepburn (Astrid)Toto got in this photo!
Lib & Sez photo #384767
James Bond (Ben)

We (Andy, Dave, Josh, Bart and Team SaKat) played a game of poker. We came third.
And I maintain that bottlecaps are currency! They're green!!!
(Perhaps this is why we lost... Kat ate our chips?)The monopoly of life = Josh's haul. (I don't know what this means, merely that it was written in my phone, and I know I took this photo for it.)
Bart vs Josh
Bart won... POCKET ACES. Ahaha.
Bart, Josh, Dave, Michael, Sez
Sunday
Cleaned up, then went to try to get Bart's glasses fixed (failed). Went to Carols by Candlelight with Bart, Lib and Shane. The fireworks were nice, though we couldn't see the stage (as in, we sat behind it.)
Libby likes cucumberMulti-purpose scissors! (which apparently don't work on tomato)
We're caroling by candlelight!
Fireworks!
Monday
I worked, then went to Bart's. We all partied on, and didn't go to bed til about 6.30am. What responsible young people we are!
Crush-face! (the other adorable nickname created this night was Kestes (by Andy). How funny we are!)We were playing pyramids, and just before the top card was turned over, Ace of Spades came on. So we joked about how amusing it would be if that card was indeed the ace of spades.

Tuesday
I worked 4-9.30 - I'm being trained to close (again) ((except this time I'm actually going to have to close eventually.)

And yes. Hoorah!

"Ben it's your turn in my pants"

Okay, so this is going to be a long blog, if I can be bothered. Except I don't think I can be.
Tuesday
Drove to the beach with Bart and Kester. About an hour and a half after that Lib, Shane and Kat arrived. Then Lib and I made spaghetti and warmed up the bolognaise sauce that Michael had already made. And then... I don't really remember. We played kings. And I got the drink. Which was 2/3 Strongbow, and 1/3 Berocca. That's Berocca without vodka, mind you. Hahahaha.

Wednesday
After awakening around midday, we proceeded to sit around and play that game where you sing the tune of a well-known (unless you're Michael) song, whilst reading from a book, such as World War Z, or Mim's Annual. Which was about TB. Hahahaha. Anyway, then we went to the beach, and that was fun but quite scary, the waves were very W:LGHS:OGHSEOGIHSEOGISHEO (read: big). Then we went home and had a BBQ, then played pyramid and kings (Michael got the drink?) then possibly charades? Bart, Kester and I played an awesome game with Trivial Pursuit cards, where we had to get a question of each right, then moved onto the next one. Wow, we have imagination.

Thursday
Awoke around midday again, and once again didn't go to the beach (Middleton this time) until about 4. The waves were heaps better there, and such fun! Except then a storm came so we had to get out of the water. It was difficult. But fun anyway. We then returned to the (massive) house, and had burgers and pasta for dinner. Then we got going on the revised kings game, and played Bart's awesome game, which was awesome.

Friday
Woke up early, (10am), drove home. Went to work (3-9). Came home. Slept?

Saturday
Worked, had a Singstar party. It was fun. We rented the original Singstar, and also the rock one, which mostly didn't work, which was annoying! It was good though.

Sunday
Went to Bart's (after returning the faulty Singstar), where he made Lib and I dumplings. While he was doing this, Kester was apparently lost, so Lib and I went to look for him.
But it turns out he was actually in town still.
The dumplings were good though. From the market. Woop.
Then he went to shower, so Lib and I entertained ourselves by reading in Polish (from the book of Bog), and looking at photo albums of mini-Bart.

We also looked at the book of photos of Pope John Paul II, and discovered that he was stuck in one pose for most of the nineties. It was this one.
See?
Andy arrived while Bart was showering, so he came and looked at photos with us, (and I emo-ised him)And then we listened to Bart reading from the same book as Lib.

Eventually everyone arrived, and we played the dice game that Diego taught us. It's Swiss, apparently, and I won, all the games we played *proud* We also played Bart's awesome game with names such as Pope John Paul, and John Paul H. Heh. Then people started leaving, and it ended up being me, Astrid, Bart, Michael, Andy, Diego and Kester. We played uber-scissors-paper-rock, which had uber-tools, and people got uber-immunity. It was pretty funny. Andy won. After that, we decided to take of our shirts. I think it had something to do with Diego saying "lets take off our shirts and drink", but I'm still really not entirely sure why we did. It was funny. But yeah.

Monday
I went to work. What fun. Then went to Bart's and watched the first disc of the Fellowship of the Ring.

Tuesday
Watched the second disc of it, then most of the first of The Two Towers. Then I went home, then went to a photography thing at Carclew which was interesting and good.

And that is my week until this very moment (tonight, I chatted to dad and went on msn).

Toorah.

And Heaven knows...

Today I returned from three fun-filled days at Port Elliot with uni friends.
However, quotes, videos and photos can wait, I'm not really in a happy enough mood to write it at the moment.
Yesterday, Emilio Pastro was meant to be sentenced, but he fired his lawyer, so... wasn't.

Fatal crash never happened, accused driver tells court

Article from: The Advertiser

SEAN FEWSTER, COURT REPORTER

December 05, 2007 02:50pm

A DANGEROUS driver who admitted killing two teenagers now says the crash "did not happen", and that police fabricated the evidence.

In an extraordinary outburst today, Emilio Pastro fired his lawyer and told the District Court he wanted "justice".

He denied responsibility for a crash that took the lives of Timothy McWaters and Danielle Drysdale in May 2005.

"The fact is the accident did not happen, and this has been fabricated by the police," he said.

"They have refused to give me evidence, they have refused to give me papers.

"I could not say nothing, we either have justice or no justice."

Pastro's claims reduced the McWaters and Drysdale families, sitting in the court gallery, to tears.

A visibly angry Judge Michael Boylan gave Pastro one week to find a new lawyer – but ordered he first listen to the victim impact statements.

The 59-year-old, of Flagstaff Hill, pleaded guilty on October 10, 2007, to causing Timothy and Danielle's deaths by dangerous driving.

The life-long friends, born one day apart, died after Pastro's car collided with theirs near Port Wakefield.

Today, Melissa Drysdale told the court her life "is not full" without her older sister.

"It feels like I have a piece of me missing, that Danielle took with her, and I will never get it back," she said.

Timothy's father, Kim, said his son was a champion athlete and devoted Christian.

"He was gregarious, spontaneous, larger than life and mindful of other's feelings," he said.

He faced Pastro and said the image of his dying son was "burned into my brain".

"I doubt you can imagine what that does to a proud parent," he said.

"It's inconceivable that any human could do what you have done and not offer an apology – how could anybody be so callous and insensitive?

"If only I could use profanities in this court room, then I could tell you what I think of you."

Judge Boylan remanded Pastro on continuing bail until next week.
